Weaving its way through towering pines, skirting the edges of Minnesota's newest lakes, and winding quietly under the cries of bald eagles, a trail connects people to people.
The exciting new Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is, and continues to be, a multi-purpose state trail through the five-thousand acre Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area(CCSRA). Cuyuna Lakes Trail | Cuyuna Country, USA  When complete, the trail will cover a distance of approximately thirty miles and will be an important link in the overall trail system of the central Minnesota Lakes region. On the west, the trail will connect to the Paul Bunyan Trail in Brainerd/Baxter, while on the east, it will run to Aitkin generally following the Mississippi River and the Highway 210 corridors.

With local help and support, a dream to create the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail was born; its purpose being to preserve and yet share the recreation area, encouraging a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

The CLTA believes that, when completed, this trail network will create an enhanced sense of identity and unity for the communities involved.

Please give your resources the respect they deserve, thank you!
